Hi,
Pardon my ignorance, but can anyone direct me to the paperwork that relates to how many square metres are now required to be dedicated to trenches for a water treatment plant (ie envirocycle or similar). We are living on a half acre and have an envirocycle (we were not allowed a septic), and have we think more than enough room for secondary trenches if they should ever be required. However in trying to get a planning permit for another half acre we are told we need a new capability assesment, as we don't have the required space. I know others have faced this, but I didn't expect it in a township zone where there are septics everywhere, and treatment plants everywhere else. Are we dead in the water regardless or will a new LCA really give them more info? It is Goulburn Murray Water we are facing, anyone with inside knowledge?
Thanks.
