Hi everyone

It's been a while since I have posted on here (been busy with all the OB stuff). Trenching for our footings and plumbing is due to commence tomorrow (weather dependent) and I have just hit a bit of a hurdle. Gas installation!

I have just realised that in the fine print my plumber is unable to install gas to the premisis. Can anyone tell me if anything needs to be done before the slab is poured for gas installation/connection?

Need to know ASAP so any help would be great!!!

Thanks

You don't need to do anything prior to slab stage. The gas pipe work generally runs from the meter up the wall cavity or wall frame into the roof and is distributed from the roof space back down the wall to the appliance.
You would want to rough-in the plumbing at frame stage.

Regards

Andrew
