Finished
Donvale finished and being lived
in.

The dining-living room, showing
refectory table in foreground, and mantlepiece added about three
years later.

Two portrait shots to give a
landscape view of dining-living area. Note solid-brass bracket
at end of pew that was originally used to allow swivel-back to
be used as trestle table, probably for church picnics. The backs
were taken off both pews, and transformed into a single refectory
table, the base being made of matching recycled kauri flooring.

Courtyard on North side, with
first buds of Wisteria.

Courtyard, as it was designed
to be used.

Dining-living room, as it was
designed to be used. This occasion is Cathy's parents' Golden
Wedding Anniversary.

Western verandah with early,
later prolific, kiwi fruit vines.
